Skate at Home
Skate at Home
In this game, the player controls a skateboard from a top-down perspective, as they perform tricks in a small arena. The game is very simple and I made for as a final for a game development class. In the game, players can ollie and powerslide, gaining points for each one. If the player hits a planter or a wall, their board breaks and they bail, ending the round. Players can ollie over planters, though. The goal is to get as many points in the 30-second time window as possible. Released in conjunction with my essay collection, Some (Somewhat) Brief Thoughts on Skateboarding.
